01Information We Collect
SimplifAI is designed to keep your study content under your control. The app does not require you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal data.
You may choose to provide content inside the app, including:
- Text that you type or paste into chat
- Notes, documents, PDFs, rich text, markdown, screenshots, or image-based inputs that you import
- Questions, prompts, saved chats, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, and other study material created in the app
Saved chats, recent history, and generated study material may be stored locally on your device so you can reopen previous work and continue studying later.
02How We Use Your Information
The content you provide is used to power SimplifAI's features, including chat, document summarisation, saved history, flashcards, quizzes, and Study Mode.
We may use information to:
- Generate AI responses, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, and study outputs
- Regenerate or improve study material at your request
- Save and reopen recent chats and study sets on your device
- Enable premium or subscription features through Apple's App Store systems
03AI Processing
SimplifAI uses artificial intelligence to process user-provided content. Text, notes, PDFs, images, screenshots, or other imported content may be sent to third-party AI service providers when needed to generate chat responses, summaries, quizzes, flashcards, or other study outputs.
Your content is used to generate results within the app. AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for every situation. You should review and verify important information before relying on it.
04Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Your information may only be shared with trusted service providers when necessary to operate the app, such as AI processing providers or Apple's App Store payment systems.
We do not share your imported content for advertising purposes.
05Data Storage
SimplifAI may store chats, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, settings, and recent history locally on your device. If you delete the app or remove saved content, locally stored app data may be deleted from your device depending on your device settings and Apple's operating system behavior.
Content sent for AI processing may be handled by third-party service providers according to their own security and retention practices. SimplifAI does not operate a separate user account database for your study content.
06Subscriptions and Payments
If SimplifAI offers paid or premium features, payments and subscriptions are handled through Apple’s App Store payment system. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details. The app may receive limited subscription or entitlement status from Apple so premium features can be enabled.
07Children’s Privacy
SimplifAI is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
08Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your use of the app.
09Security
We take reasonable steps to protect user information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
